Models we tested

How Lunos performed on coding tasks with the models we have evaluated, and how the tests were run.

We run Lunos on a fixed set of coding tasks to see how well it works with a given model. The latest result, from 4 October 2026:

What was tested. 33 tasks: 3 taken from real Lunos fixes and 30 exercises from the Aider Polyglot benchmark, 5 each in C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python and Rust. Lunos 1.18.42 had one attempt per task, with no internet access and without seeing the tests that grade it. These numbers measure Lunos’s own agent; they aren’t comparable with Aider’s leaderboard, which uses a different harness.

OpenAI is a US provider. Under an EU-only data residency policy, Lunos refuses it. We haven’t yet published a result for an EU-hosted model; this page will list one when we have.
